Hints of grapefruit in the nose speak to the wine’s varietal roots. But a cool-climate minerality and crisp acidity distinguish this unusual vineyard designate from its California brethren. Grown on 32-year-old scion-rooted vines, in a place known better for Gewürztraminer than Sauvignon Blanc, the hardy vines continue to produce an inspired expression of Anderson Valley terroir.
