Tasting Notes:
The nose shows hints of spicy oak, caramel, cut pumpkin, and Brazil nuts. Good weight with integrated flavors of Bosc pears, melon, butterscotch, and cream Brule. Great long, oily finish with both nutmeg and grilled nuts to finish it off.
Vintage Notes
2005 started with a cool spring with rain in June. Fall was warm and dry, allowing good ripening. Results were low yields, but wine with intense flavors and excellent quality
