Lost Canyon 2004 Syrah Alegria Vineyard

Winemaker Tasting Notes:
This Russian River Syrah comes from Alegria Vineyard. This vineyard is located on rolling landscape near the town of Healdsburg. This vineyard benefits from cool breezes that bring in the fog from the ocean in the morning and receeds to warm sunny days. These are perfect conditions for our cool climate Syrah. This wine is deep violet in color with notes of blackberry, earth, smoke, leather, and spice. This wine is complex with tannins that add to its structure providing a great finish. We produced less than 200 cases of this wine.
