Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Black cherry, raspberry and black pepper dominate the nose. There are more subtle hints of blackberry and pencil shavings. The palate is broad and reinforces the nose. The tannins firm up the finish nicely without lingering. This wine would be perfect with Duck in a raspberry reduction sauce.
Vineyard Notes:
Peconic Bay wines are the product of the soil and mild climate of
Cutchogue, Long Island, the town with the most days of sunshine and the longest growing season in New York State.
