Winemaker Tasting Notes:
A soft, full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. A cool fermentation with limited skin contact yielded a wine with forward fruit, soft tannins and balance. The bright berry flavor of the Cabernet Sauvignon is well complemented by the soft richness of the Merlot.
Peconic Bay wines are the product of the soil and mild climate of
Cutchogue, Long Island, the town with the most days of sunshine and the longest growing season in New York State.
