Perry Creek 2003 Zinfandel Walker Vineyard

Vineyard Notes:
The Perry Creek 2003 Vintage began September 5, and ended October 28. Walker Vineyards is a first time bottling for Perry Creek, but a well know vineyard in El Dorado. These Zinfandel grapes were planted in the 70’s. Walker Vineyard is located in the Oak Hill agricultural area on the ridge above the Cosumnes River.

Tasting Notes:
This wine exhibits aromas of black cherries, figs, and black licorice with peppery spice. Flavors of kirsch liqueur, briary spice, and dark chocolate covered espresso beans. Firm acidity with a creamy richness and spicy lingering aftertaste.
