Perry Creek grows 3.8 acres of
Viognier. The 2004 vintage was harvested over a period of 6 days, between 24.2 and 25.5 brix. The grapes were harvested three days on each of the two main blocks of Viognier, to pick at peak ripeness. All of Perry Creek's Viognier is grown on a quadrilateral cordon system to help control vigor and open the vine up to sunlight. The key ingredient of our estate Viognier is optimal fruit exposure.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Floral, apricot and ripe white peach aromas highlight our 2004 Viognier. Hints of tangerine, light vanilla and stone fruit flavors. This wine exhibits medium body with fine acidity and a lingering aftertaste.
