The Perry Creek Muscat is Estate grown on 5 acres that were planted in 1990. Perry Creek Vineyards is located in the highest appellation in California. The
Fair Play appellation, which is in
El Dorado County, has an elevation of 2,400 feet. The Perry Creek estate vineyard sits along a ridge-top above the middle fork of the Consumnes River. During growing season, the vineyard experiences warm sun-filled days and cool evenings with a constant breeze flowing toward the valley below.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Ripe pink grapefruit and honeysuckle blossoms highlight the aromas of this Muscat; candied citrus fruit with ripe spiced pears and honey. This wine has bright acid and is clean and lively with a smooth finish.
