Vintage Notes:
The 1997 growing season started with a perfect spring; warm, dry and sunny followed by a typically hot early summer. Bud was early; bloom was one of the earliest and most even in our memory.
Tasting Notes:
This dessert wine is musky and intense. Complex tropical fruit in the nose and an abundance of peach, apricot and kumquat alongside papaya, melon and mango. Persistent, with perfect acidity. A wine like this comes along once in 100 years.
