Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Quite frankly, this is perhaps the best Zinfandel Port ever. Produced from a dry farmed vineyard planted in 1917, the concentration of flavors is spectacular. Port lovers love it. Non-port lovers are won over immediately. The fruit must hang weeks after harvest to produce the required sugar content. Weather conditions must be perfect.
