2008 Pinot Noir, Tondre Grapefield(Santa Lucia Highlands)
Very dark color. Bright orange peel and spiced cherry complexed by dry earth. Full and lively -- a riot of explosive, intense fruit. Tannins are very fine, oily and feminine, filing the mouth. Very typical of the region, with classy structure, fine poise and considerable ageability. An outstanding example of Santa Lucia Highlands expression of Pinot Noir. Only 500 cases made.
