Appearance Medium dark garnet, great clarity.
Aroma Bright strawberry/raspberry/cherry fruit and dried orange peel potpourri relieves weedy mustard, seductively enriched by incenses of sandalwood, cardamom and bay, licorice and exotic earthiness.
Flavor Lush red and black fruit with herbal accents but no veg. Stylish tannins support bright acidity, and the finish is round, intricate and long.
Balance Moderate alcohol, very minerally.

Oenological Standard Bordeaux techniques.
Terroir Tiny vineyards at 500 - 2600 feet. The warmer areas are sought out for Bordelais varietals, generally to the east and south near Saratoga and Corralitos.
