Balanced, Generous Style
Appearance Pale straw.
Aroma Very complex: rosewater, white peach, green olive, honey, brown sugar, coriander, lavendar, summer rain petrichor, aromatic cedar.
Flavor Full bodied with genrous fruit and lush texture. Complex exotic flavors: ripe kiwi, starfruit, chipotle and sometimes a little oak.
Balance Good acidity, sometimes a little sweet, Never hot or cloying.

Oenological Generally stainless fermented, or if oak is used, extremely well integrated and in the background.
Viticultural Some biodynamic offerings.
Terroir Well-drained, loamy soils with decomposed granite on the Valley floor at 1100 feet. Also some rockier spots at 2500 feet with some igneous influence, resulting in more minerally wines. Hot, rising Palm Desert air to the East daily pulls cooling air from the Pacific 18 miles West through the Rainbow Gap in the coastal mountains.
