Winemaker: Marc Lurton, Director of Winemaking Deux Mondes

Marc Lurton comes from one of the world's most famous winemaking areas. Its name – Bordeaux – is more than just a major city in southwestern France; it's the name of a group of wines that are among the finest in the world.

Lurton is a fourth-generation winemaker/owner of Chateau Reynier Estate, which has been growing grapes and producing wines since the 15th century. Marc gained his education from Bordeaux University of Oenologie. He has been growing and producing Bordeaux wines for over 28 years. Marc’s diligent vineyard work and artisan approach to winemaking is the cornerstone for the top quality, well-priced wines produced at his Chateau Reynier Estate. More than 20 chateaux are owned/operated by the Lurton family. Marc serves as Director of Winemaking for Deux Mondes wines produced by the Joseph Filippi Winery Rancho Cucamonga.
