Farmstrong Vneyards2014 Field White
Faith Armstrong Foster has been in pursuit of balance within her own labels for some time. Onward Wines is the major Pinot program, but Farmstrong Vineyards is where alternative varietals get to shine. And they do.
As a new wine label it is getting serious looks from the on site and off site trade and Farmstrong Field White is a good reason this is happening. Comprised of Albarino, Grenache Blanc and just a bit of Verhelho, all picked at lower sugars and higher acidity, this blend sings the virtues of whites emerging from California's Suisun Valley.
Crisp, clean and absolutely refreshing this is a great example of what balance looks like. And what a little lower alcohol feels like. A wonderful companion to seafoods and white meats to salads on any menu or home table.
