Roudon-Smith is dedicated to the production of exceptional wines from the vineyards of the Santa Cruz Mountains, including our estate-grown Chardonnay. Grapes were also purchased from select vineyards in other regions of the state including the grapes for this Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Traditional wine-making methods result in elegant, long-lived wines, the perfect complement to a meal.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Made in a California Style this Chardonnay is filled with a wonderful balance of toasted oak and butter from a full Malolactic fermentation in brand new Hungarian and French oak barrels. This wine is smooth and is carried out with tropical fruits, nectarines and honey!
