Naumann 2002 Estate Merlot

Vineyard Notes:
Naumann Estate Vineyards is located 2,000 feet atop Montebello Road in Santa Clara Valley overlooking Silicon Valley. Grown on an eastern facing slope, all of the Naumann Vineyard grapes awaken each morning to Santa Cruz Mountains' first sunlight and are put to bed each night by a cool gentle breeze. This helps to keep the fruit from maturing too early.

Winemaker Tasting Notes:
An intense wine, dark in color with rich concentrated flavors of dark cherry and mocha chocolate, it is complemented with silky tannins. It is wonderful now, but will cellar well for years to come.
