Winemaking Notes:
Fruit from Long Island was vinified with pump-overs for gentle extraction of color and tannins. A two week maceration was followed by malolactic fermentation and barrel aging.
Tasting Notes:
Rich, earthy aromas of ripe plum, dark berry fruits, leather and a touch of cinnamon with soft, dark fruit flavors and a smooth finish.
Food Pairing Notes:
Serve with roast pork loin, roast duck, rack of lamb.
