Winemaking Notes:
This wine was crafted using 1/3 of the whoe clusters added to fermentation to enhance fruitiness and a 12 day maceration (juice with skin contact). All of the barrel aging was completed in used French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes:
The lovely, rich garnet color hints at the robust dark cherry aromas. Bright, vibrant flavors of Bing cherry and juicy, red berry fruits with a hint of vanilla are supported by ripe, silky tannins.
Food Pairing Notes:
Serve with roast chicken, quail and grilled tuna.
