Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Silver Mountain's Alloy is a rich, complex Bordeaux-style blend (like a Meritage). Blackberries, black-currents, loganberries and blueberries are in such abundance that the fruit explodes out of the glass. The mouthfeel is big yet balanced, tannins firm yet supple and velvety, the palate round yet full. Hints of cedar and nutmeg linger on the finish. This is a deliciously unctuous, fruity wine. 51% Cabernet Sauvignon (32% Soma and 19% Mannstand Vineyards), with 37% Merlot from Bellicitti Vineyard, and 6% each Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from Mannstand Vineyard.
