Appellation America Shipping Policy
Overview
Due to the restrictions of many state laws, there are certain states where we are not permitted to ship wine. We follow the express interest of our winery partners with regards to their own shipping capabilities.
Availability
We encourage customers who wish to purchase a particular wine, which is not presently available in your state, to email us at:
sales@appellationamerica.com.
Please include specific information about winery bottlings you would like to order that are unavailable.
Quantity Limits
In certain states, legislatures impose limitations on the amount of wine any particular resident may receive in an individual direct shipment or over a period of time. AppellationAmerica.com will make all efforts to advise customers in the ordering process of stated limitations in their state. AppellationAmerica.com is unable to assume responsibility beyond the order history of the current user on our site. To ensure that you are able to order wine for direct shipment from our Web site, please consult the specific state requirements for your state.
Age Verification
Please note that all orders must be placed by persons over the age of 21 years, and that age verification will be required upon receipt of your wine. The user forfeits their right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may either be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or shipped back to the winery. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer.
Weighting
Shipping charges are calculated by standard weight and destination, according to shipping services, such as FedEx and UPS. It is our policy to show shipping charges as users add products to their shopping cart.
