Bien Nacido Collector's Case
Bien Nacido Vineyards Collector's Case- A Wine Enthusiast's Dream
Mixed Case, $395
Nestled away in the hills and canyons of the Santa Maria Valley appellation lies arguably one of the most famous American vineyards-- Bien Nacido. The area's great reputation attracts over 55 well-respected winery clients (with a waiting list twice as long!).
With more than 900 acres of grapevines, Bien Nacido Vineyards is large enough to allow notably different expressions of similar geography. It holds at least eight kinds of soils, as well as the unifying thread of a cool, coastal climate that lends a similar backbone of acidity to all wines, regardless of varietal. This commonality alone makes each Bien Nacido wine a worthy foil for any dinner party. But the story only begins there.
The case includes bottlings from well-known wineries like Qupé and the Ojai Vineyard, which both contribute Syrahs, obscurities like Pinot Blancs from Makor, J. Wilkes and Trou de Bonde or Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from producers like Au Bon Climat, Tantara, Stephen Ross and Lane Tanner. All are designed to show the unique terroir that is Bien Nacido.
Appellation America is pleased to offer, for a limited time, the first Bien Nacido Collector's Case ($395), which lets you sample its range of offerings with a set of 12 wines made from the vineyards by 12 different wineries.
