The Maragas Family has been making wine in the US and Europe for generations. Anna Maragas founded the family's first American wine business in 1941. Doug Maragas, Anna's grandson, founded Maragas Winery in 1999. Carrying on the tradition, Doug stayed close to his grandmother's most cherished varietals and blends. To finish the blend, Doug adorns his bottles with his mother's (Joanne Lattavo) beatnik art from 1959 and his own beatnik rendition of his beloved dog Cloe.
