Three Fox Vineyards

A lovely medium bodied yet hearty red wine, this Virginia Nebbiolo may not have the heft of its Italian cousin, but it enticed me with a spicy nose that was subtly reminiscent of a clove-studded orange surrounded by dark fruit

2010 was a long hot growing season in the Middleburg Virginia AVA and the flavors of dark cherry and tart cranberry are rich, mouth filling, and long-lasting. This is definitely a wine to enjoy with a hearty winter dinner and to share with friends. It is evident that owners John and Holi Todhunter put their passion for all things Italian into this wine.

Three Fox is now one of 25 wineries in the new Middleburg Virginia AVA
