Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
A supple red wine with a burst of pepper. This is a mellow style zinfandel with fresh berry fruit and wild strawberry on the finish. It is made to drink now. Enjoy it with hamburgers, spaghetti and meatballs or pizza.
Vineyard Notes:
Our Zinfandel is from established
Dry Creek Valley growers. We've been looking at various sites, getting to know the growers and sampling fruit to identify which blocks are best for Mike's minimalist winemaking style. We are constantly on the lookout for growers with deep experience and unbridled passion for growing the best wine grapes.
It all starts in the vineyards. From there, our goal is to preserve the essential characteristics of the fruit, to produce wines that are approachable, friendly and pair well with food. Our style is light on the oak and focuses on the fruit flavors in the wine.
