Basel Cellars 2004 Claret

Tasting Notes:
This Claret may be our best effort yet! The floral nose shows hints of fresh cranberries, cherries, coffee, and vanilla. It is dark ruby red, and has a penetrating nose of cassis, Christmas Spice, pomegranate, and ripe Bing Cherries. The mouthfeel is rich and dense. This Claret has flavors of blackberries, cherries with silky tannins and a velvety finish that seems to last forever! This wine should drink well over the next five to seven years.
