Tasting Notes:
The wine is 100% Syrah, and you know it the minute you pour it in the glass! Deep, blood red in color, with penetrating aromas of olives, bacon fat, and plums. In the mouth it is dense, powerful, and opulent, with flavors of ripe, juicy red and black fruits, sour cherries, earthy tobacco, a hint of citrus, and minerals. Beautifully balanced, it should age at least eight to ten years, and perhaps longer.
