Wine Recommendation:
Collier Falls Vineyards
2001 Zinfandel Private Reserve, Estate
Winemaker
Tasting Notes
"This wine shows fragrances of wild strawberries, ripe raspberries and
liquorice. On the palate, the wine offers initial notes of cherry,
vanilla and cocoa; the middle palate compliments with a soft, elegant
texture while the finish is long and spicy. The integration of oak and
fruit is beautifully balanced - with the wine showing velvety tannins.
The 2001
Dry Creek Valley vintage is well-suited for aging."
