Vineyard and Winemaking Notes:
The grapes used to create this Limited Edition wine come from Dutton Hill and Bynum Estate in the
Russian River Valley. The wine was fermented in French Oak barrels, with 15% undergoing secondary malolactic fermentation. It was aged sur-lie for eight months in 60 gallon oak barrels from forests in Central France.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
This Chardonnay starts out with a bouquet of pineapple , toasted oak and hints of cream. It's mouth feel is round and smooth with lean acid and fruit bursting on the tongue with tastes of Granny Smith apples and creamy pineapple. The finish is long lasting and smooth carrying through the flavors of pineapple and cream.
