This wine is fashioned from Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes grown in the estate Molinari and Laureles Vineyards respectively. The grapes were de-stemmed then gently pressed to achieve the desired hue. The resulting juice was fermented to dryness in stainless steel then bottled young to retain the fresh fruit characteristics.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
"The wine displays delightful aromas of strawberries with subtle nuances of rose petals. In the mouth this dry, crisp wine bursts with flavors of apples, cranberries, and cinnamon. With a light refreshing finish of cinnamon and baked apples, this wine is a perfect match for brunch foods and cured meats, especially quiches and proscuitto di Parma with cantaloupe." -Winemaker David Georges.
