Vineyard Notes:
Before prohibition in 1921,
Lake County was the largest pre-prohibition grape-producing
county in California. Lake County vineyard acreage has grown to over 8,800 today and is
becoming one of the fastest grape growing regions. Sauvignon Blanc is a star varietal from the area and is distinguished with its ripe flavors, full body and bright acidity.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Green-gold in color. Aromas of citrus, melon, white peaches and hints of fig come through on the nose. This refreshing and zesty white wine was aged in stainless steel and has bright acidity and a clean, crisp finish. Perfect for summer sipping on the patio and great with a wide range of foods such as oysters, sushi, Dungeness crab, prawns, spring rolls, and Thai food.
