Winemaker Tasting Notes:
This wine underwent only a very light, coarse filtration. It is exceptionally clean and remarkably mature considering the grapes came from four year-old vines. The wine has distinct cherry and red berry aromas coupled with soft tannins that balance well with the older French oak barrels this wine was aged in. It is a nice match for duck and pork dishes.
