Located along the shores of the Bay of Fundy’s Minas Basin, Blomidon Estate offers wonderful views of the world's highest tides. This tidal action actually benefits our vineyard through massive air movement leading to temperature moderation and frost protection. We have 25 acres of vineyards, which are carefully maintained to optimize fruit quality for our winemaker. This property houses some of the provinces oldest vines (planted 1986) as it was initially a test vineyard for a local research station. Our on-site retail store is open year round and we are pleased to offer free tours and tastings.

Visiting the Winery
From Halifax: Take Hwy 101 to the Annapolis Valley and turn off at Exit 11. Proceed on Route 358 N through Port Williams and following the "wine route" signs. Veer right onto Route 221 through Canning and into Habitant where we are located on the right side of the road.
