Dos Cabezas Wineworks |
Located on terrain once traversed by Apaches, goldminers and conquistadores, our winery uses grapes that thrive on perfect Ph-balanced, well-drained sandy loam, producing outstanding fruit. Our wells supply measured water to each vine, and we hand-prune and hand-pick our carefully chosen clones. Crushing our grapes within minutes of harvest, we ferment and bottle wines in our estate winery. Our vineyards are the oldest and largest vinifera plantings in Arizona. They exemplify a successful marriage of soil, climate and grape variety that the French call terroir. Recently, we have added 20 acres of Malvasia, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Tempranillo. We are planning a new winery and tasting room. We welcome visits by appointment, and we encourage you to visit our website, where you may sign up for our mailing list and purchase our wines.
