Mourvedre is exhibiting great quality in the Sierra Foothills and this 2009 Mourvedre is a great example of what this region demonstrates. Greeted by powerful aromoatics, the wine reveals bright fruit and spicey character immediately, with tones of white pepper. Great acidity mid palate freshens all the flavor senses. This could be a stand out with spicey Asian fare yet could do very well with chicken dishes
