Burrell School 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon

Vineyard Notes:
Burrell School used the Estate Pichon Vineyard and Harvest Moon Vineyard for this first Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvest Moon Vineyard is located in the southern portion of our mountains between Gilroy and Mount Madonna in the historic growing area of Redwood Retreat Road. The Estate Pichon Vineyard is located on the slopes of Mount Umunhum above Lexington Reservoir.

Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Deep opaque color followed by aromas of lavender and dried cherries. A nose of white and black pepper is followed by lovely flavors of currant, hints of cocoa, sandalwood and a long peppery finish.
