Vineyard Notes:
Ryan Oaks is located in the
Shenandoah Valley of
Amador County, an area with a rich heritage of Zinfandel cultivation dating back two centuries. Burrell School's Zinfandel is barrel aged in American oak barrels, 30% new, for eighteen months.
Winemaker Tasting Notes:
The nose yields ripe blackberry fruit laced with licorice
and herbs. A pure explosion of blackberry pie with graceful
cinnamon and allspice notes in the mouth. On the finish,
a note of sweet tobacco fills your palate.
