Clos Tita artisinal wines are made in limited quantities from the Santa Cruz Mountains, high above beautiful Monterey Bay. For vintage 2003 Clos Tita contracted grapes from a small vineyard in the Mt. Eden district of Saratoga, a natural site for the Cabernet Sauvignon varietal. 10-15% merlot is blended in from a site just south in the chaine d' Or. The wine spent 2 years in French oak, unfiltered.
