Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
The Graeser 2003 Cabernet Franc has all the exuberant fruit and spice we’ve come to expect from the
Diamond Mountain Hillsides. The nose is rich with upfront dark fruit character this time around, ripe black cherry, black raspberry, generous fresh pepper and lovely oak spice.
The first sip says “which way to the barbeque?” with a burst of mixed berry, plum and cherry fruit. The 2003 is medium to full bodied, perfectly ripe with the kind of juicy acidity that makes it so very user friendly at the dinner table. Enjoy this one with good company for 5-10 years!
