Winemaker Tasting Notes:
2004 Merlot hails from the vines of the
Paso Robles winegrowing region. Full of dark berry fruit, bing cherry jam and cassis. Interesting hints of black pepper and spice. Medium body and tannins. Well-balanced, good structure and nice mouth feel with unique creamy finish. All around a most delicious premium Merlot that pours proud now (Aug 2006) and will age well for 2 to 3 years.
