Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Cheerful, fresh and lively pink wine! Very food-friendly, off-dry (not too sweet) and ready to enjoy for any gathering. Made popular by its use in French Rhone blends as well as a base for the Spanish Rioja, the red grape Grenache has grown in
Cucamonga's warm, sandy/gravel terrain for over 100 years.
Produced from old vine (75+ years) Grenache grapes grown in the foothills of Rancho Cucamonga. Blended with a touch of our 2005 Mourvedre, offers a brilliant color for a traditional French-style rose`. Aromas of fresh melon and red berry fruit. Fresh, versatile, bold rose’ for any occasion and palate. Natural acid balance, soft mild tannins, creamy texture.
Food Pairing Notes:
Pairs well with a wide array of foods including walnut/blue cheese salads, grilled chicken, mixed grilled vegetables and fish, light and spicy Asian Indian and Mexican entrees or fresh sea foods. Try with shrimp sautéed in fresh garlic, parsley and olive oil. Or enjoy chilled on its own!
