Wine Recommendation:
Lancaster 2002 Red Wine, Estate
Tasting Notes:
Estate grown, produced and bottled, the 2002 Red Wine exhibits aromas of pine sap, resin and toasted oak. Not over the top or cloying, it is round and appealing with generous notes of cassis, plum, currant, green tea, black tea, green olive, mint and rhubarb on the palate. It has a long berry-imbued finish with lavish sweet oak flavors, fairly aggressive and drying tannins, and high alcohol.
