This Syrah was grown by Del Rio and Garvin Vineyards in the Rogue Valley, and Lavine Vineyard and our estate vineyard in the Applegate Valley.

The Rogue Valley offers a variety of soil types and microclimates that allow a great diversity of grape varieties to be grown. Because the Applegate Valley is considerably sunnier, warmer, and drier than elsewhere in Western Oregon, Valley View concentrates on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Viognier, Syrah, and Tempranillo at our estate vineyard.

Tasting Notes:
This is a full bodied wine that is dark and rich and a great complement to lamb or beef. This full flavored wine is drinking well now and will defiantly improve with 1-4 years of bottle age.
