The Lucas Winery

Lodi's historic ZinStar vineyard is the source of organically grown Zinfandel used in making this wine. Barrel aged for initial year with further ageing in bottle prior to its current release. A classic Chianti style of medium red color, with dried flowers, watermelon, parmessan, chive and olive in the nose. A complex food wine. Ethereal perfumes and solid tannins. Moderate alcohol and balanced acidity. This wine will pair well with wood grilled salmon, roasted chicken dishes or wide range of pastas in red sauces
