Hunter Hill Vineyard and Winery located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, is a family winery producing award winning red wines. Successful viticulture on his property and a love of fine red wines inspired Vann Slatter, winemaker, to develop his unique style of approachable, carefully crafted wines.

Winemaker Tasting Notes:
Deep magenta color leads to aromas of beef, roasted coffee and spice. Full bodied expression will match perfectly with a beef stew or rack of lamb. This wine is a great follow up to the 2002 Syrah which won Best of Show at the California State Fair.
