Tasting Notes:
The South Mountains vineyards are located high in the foothills of the Blue Ridge. This prime mountain vineyard offers well drained soils with warm days and cool nights which ripen Chardonnay to perfection. The wine is 100% barrel fermented in French oak to accentuate the richness. The creamy buttery aromas are delightfully followed by a soft vanilla and oak flavor.
