Fenn Valley is a small, family-owned vineyard and winery that was born out of a desire to grow premium wine grapes and make world-class wines. The vineyard site, located along the shore's of Lake Michigan, was chosen because the unique Great Lakes' climate and deep sandy soils would be an ideal setting for growing grapes and creating wines having a stature and character unparalleled anywhere else. Our vineyards are planted to traditional European wine varieties that were carefully selected for their ability to thrive in our cool northern climate. Modern viticultural techniques are applied to each vine so that the unique combination of climate and soil are captured in the grapes and the wines. Our grapes are made into wine in our underground cellar, using an artful balance of old world tradition and up-to-date technology.

Visiting the Winery
During July and August, we have extended hours: Monday-Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, and Sunday 12 noon – 5 pm.
To get to Fenn Valley from Chicago and points south, take I-94 to I-196. Then go north on I-196 to exit 34.
From Grand Rapids and points north, go south on I-196 to exit 34. At exit 34, go east on M-89, 4 miles to 62nd Street. Then go right on 62nd Street 1 mile to 122nd Avenue. Go left on 122nd Avenue for one-quarter mile. Just follow the winery signs from I-196.
