Caymus Vineyards was founded in 1972 by Charles F. (Charlie) Wagner, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner, and their son Charles J. (Chuck) Wagner on the family’s farm in the Napa Valley town of Rutherford. The winery’s 60-plus acres of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon form the foundation of Caymus Cabernets. The Wagners also farm several other vineyards in the Napa Valley, ranging in location from the Valley floor to mountain slopes.

Visiting the Winery
Caymus offers several guided, sit-down tastings daily. Guests sample the two Cabernet Sauvignons, Special Selection and Napa Valley; as well as two wines that are sold only at the winery: Caymus Vineyards Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc.
Tastings are by appointment only and seat a maximum of 10 people at each tasting. The cost is $25 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 707-967-3010.
