Pontchartrain Vineyards & Winery is situated on a 40 acre property in the gently rolling pastoral countryside of St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans. Our Old World style Tasting Room and Terrace overlook 13 acres of producing vineyards. Entrance is through a pair of French doors or our beautiful Old World door into a beamed ceiling room accented with large mirrors and an elegant mural of a sun inspired by Louis XIV, the Sun King, for whom Louisiana is named. The room includes a long antique heart pine wine bar and a mantled corner fireplace upon which an impressive collection of award winning wines is displayed. The aesthetics of the room as well as the grounds convey a strong Mediterranean feel.

Visiting the Winery
We offer wine tastings, wine by the glass or the bottle during our normal business hours.
Tours of the winery are by appointment and are priced based on a minimum of 15 people. However, guests are welcome to walk the grounds or enjoy a picnic in the vineyard or on our terrace. Visitors will experience our efforts to produce distinctively regional wines to complement the extraordinary cuisine of Louisiana. The winery also hosts a popular outdoor summer music concert series, Jazz'n the Vines.
