Rudy and Rita von Strasser began making wine in the Diamond Mountain District in 1990. Rudy is a UC Davis graduate and the first American to be invited to intern with Bordeaux’s famed Château Lafite-Rothschild. They produce seven different single vineyard designated wines from the Diamond Mountain District as well as a Cabernet from all of their vineyards, a Reserve Bordeaux blend and a Petite Verdot Port. All of the wine is limited in production and highly allocated.
